Accelerate the Completion of our Campus

For a university system with a world-wide reputation, it would stand to reason that nothing short of an Act of Congress would provide the foundation for our history as A&M-Central Texas.
On April 30, 2009, in a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, the Division of the Army agreed to transfer 672+ acres of land which had become impractical for military training and maneuvers. In exchange, the University offered the use of classroom space and educational services.
With that, the A&M-Central Texas campus was born; although, at the time, it was in its most nascent state: hundreds of acres of rolling Texas ranch land, mature live oak trees, limestone outcrops, meandering creeks and wildflowers.
By May, 2012, the University held a once in a lifetime event: a dual grand opening and groundbreaking as Founder’s Hall was opened for use and Warrior Hall officially began construction.
Current plans for construction include our third building as well as a facilities building; the first scheduled to break ground in fall of 2016 and open for use in Spring 2018.

Look Forward With Us

Even though we are justifiably proud of our new campus, it will take another 20+ years to realize the fully-built out campus envisioned in our University Development Plan.
So we seek private donations of $3M+ to name existing buildings, as well as multi-million dollar donations to pursue the completion of our campus. Potential projects as indicated in the University Development Plan include more than a dozen new buildings, multi-purpose intramural fields for rugby and soccer,  open spaces, environmental preserves, support facilities, a football stadium, basketball arena, baseball stadium, track and field complex, fine arts complex, a student center, and residential facilities.

Capital gifts are high value, high impact, and high visibility donations, intended to spur the completion of the Texas A&M University-Central Texas campus, allow for the upgrade and/or addition to original facilities, add new technologies, initiate beautification projects, or extend research facilities.
When a capital gift is made, there is no doubt but that it will resonate within the historical fabric of the university for generations to come.
